Beginner December 2011

Hi! New here and wanted to get some input.

Holly , on April 1, 2011 at 7:39 AM Posted in Planning 0 16

I have about 8 months to pull everything together and I am in the process of picking out my dress. I've narrowed it down to 3.

They are all VERY different, but I just can't decide! I don't have any friends or family locally to go with me while I try a bunch of dresses, so here I am. I don't want anything TOO formal and I love them all! So many decisions and so little time!

Without seeing you in it, it's kinda hard to tell.

What kind of wedding? What time of day? Formal, casual? Indoor, outdoor?

I agree with her, because it may look nice on the model, but not as much on you. I would take the three dresses and try them on first, and if you still can't decide, then post the pics on here and we can check it out for you Smiley smile

All three are so beautiful but it could help you out to try them on. I had seen a lot of dresses that I wanted to try on and once I did, I knew for sure which ones looked better for my body and which went more with my taste and it was easier to decide on the one!

Well I personally do not like the one shouldered one at all! My favorite is the one with the "flaps" down it and the brooch on the side. The other lacy one is okay...

Well, it's going to be outdoor, late afteroon, casual-ish, and considering the beach. I always think to myself "WWDTD" ("What Would David Tutera Do?") lol

Thanks for all the input! Smiley smile

I love the first one, but as everyone else said, it would be easier to see a picture of you in all of them Smiley smile

I think all three might be too heavy and formal for a beach wedding. This one is similar to your third choice, but seems a little lighter: http://www.madamebridal.com/bridal_shop/detail/wtoo-16496-delphine-10566.cfm

My favorite is number 3 without seeing you in the actual dress! Good luck Smiley smile It's going to be a busy 8 months, but so fun!

My favorite is the first one but in your case it would be to heavy and to much for a beach wedding. Good luck

I have to agree about the weight for a beach wedding. So that is ANOTHER factor to consider, UGH! Maybe we'll keep it indoors, but close to the beach. lol So overwhelming! THanks for the welcome, btw. Smiley smile

I absolutely love the first one, you can make any of them work for an outdoor or beach wedding. Maybe get an aisle runner or something.

I think first one is my favorite too! So now I have to be creative with other aspects of the wedding. I like the idea of an aisle runner, Thanks!

Welcome to WW. I also think I need to see the dress on you. #1 is totally out for a beach wedding.

I love the first one. But that might be too much for the beach. IDK. I also like the second one. Not a fan of the last one.

    PS: Welcome!
