For the klutzy/tomboy brides

I have an older brother so I love to horse around. Well last year when the weather finally got nice I was feeling frisky and decided to tackle FH. (We horse around a lot, even though he's got me by 100 lbs, I like to pretend I can take him!). As I was going in, he decided to come towards me, and my fingers got caught in the little button hole part of his long-sleeve dress shirt (he had just gotten home from work). My hand somehow got twisted and bent back. I ended up breaking my hand! I had to go to my mother's somewhat formal retirement party with a bright blue cast on my right arm! It was so embarrassing! As well as the doctors asking me if I was SURE FH didn't hurt me. So BE CAREFUL! I know we finally had 2 sunny days in a row, and maybe you all have to and are feeling pretty good! You don't want to have a bright blue cast on your big day! I know we won't be horsing around until after the wedding!

I wouldn't worry about being embarrassed about the cast, lots of people understand I'm sure. But I'm pretty clumsy myself.. the thing I have the most problems with would be eating without making a big mess lol. I even spilled a whole cup of butter all over myself while eating out with Fh, Fh's parents, and Fh's brother and his fiance. I'm worried that I'll make a big mess all over my wedding dress on the big day!

Lol, I'm the same way. My sister and her hubby were wrestling around and he threw her over his shoulder. And she had horrible pain and seriously thought she broke a rib. (she is very little and thin, 5'1" 105 lbs) She went to the med clinic...had x rays...ends up she tore something. Which the Dr. said hurts worse than a broken rib.

I am a klutz, and have all sorts of fears as to how this may impact on my big day! My bet is falling on the spiral staircase at our venue! And no- I am not wearing big heels!

@Potters-it is worse! FH tore cartilage during the G-20! He's in the Air Force and they activated them for riot control. He was so frustrated with the pain.

Yepp it's worse! I've had broken ribs and I'd take those over a torn ligament ANY DAY! I have 3 teenage brothers...all at least 6ft and over 200lbs apiece and they think they can just manhandle my little butt! Big sister has to stand her own so I have a whole list of "battle scars" lol!

Told them all I will NOT be partaking in backyard football this summer cause I'm sooooooo scared of ending up in a cast or something for my wedding (Labor Day Wkend)

I was so worried about this. Not so much with my husband because he's usually more gentle but my dad is retired army and we have always wrestled and fought he figures its good training if im ever attacked again but sometimes things go wrong. One day I went to attack him and he thought he'd flip me onto the couch unfortunately as he picked me up I twisted to try and kick him and ended up landing on the wooden coffee table. I was so worried with him coming over for the wedding that id end up hurt. Luckily being pregnant I was spared lol. Unfortunately im also a klutz and I discovered me and snow dont mix so I was constantly sliding everywhere and having my hubby on one side and dad on the other to keep me from falling.

I busted my nose 3 days before the wedding. I was rushing giving my son a bath & bumped the towel rack! I heard ass crack & seen blood. All I could think about was the wedding! I though for sure I had two black eyes! Turns out I was fine. Little scratch on the nose. You could see it with the makeup but oh well. I didn't break it!

OMG I am the biggest klutz...I trip bare feet on carpet; I have been wearing shorts around the house lately since it has been so nice and FH comes home from work everyday and is like WTF did you do to your leg? Where did that bruise come from??? I better watch myself! :-)

PS. Nice choice on the bright blue cast :-)
