DO NOT PLAY-LIST

Chris, on July 21, 2018 at 5:05 PM

Posted in Wedding Reception 49

We all have songs that we want to dance to during the reception, but are there any tunes you cannot, will not stand being played on your special day? Maybe you’ve heard it played at every single wedding you’ve ever been to, maybe it’s overplayed on the radio and has lost all meaning to you-...

Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Chris Brown are not allowed. Luckily we’re using Spotify Premium so we have control over it. He won’t let me play Skynyrd at all, haha!

I can not stand Taylor swift for the life of me. It's her voice and just what she sings about that bothers me.

No Blake Shelton “Boys Round Here” (it seriously makes me gag) or Shania Twain. Other than that I’m open to negotiation. Smiley smile

I hate group dance songs, but otherwise, I'm good. If people request it enough, I'd be ok with whatever.

I say no YMCA, chicken dance and electric slide. I’m debating putting a request line on our rsvp cards.

No polka or country. Those are not for me AT ALL.

Other than that, just "Blurred Lines". I'd literally walk out of my own wedding if they played that. lol

The first thing I said to my dj when we met with him was that Since you’ve been gone by kelly clarkson was not allowed to be played. I hate that song with a fiery passion. Lol

I love country music it's my life. So her older songs are ok but not her changing from country to whatever she says she is.
