DIY projects

blah, on June 18, 2011 at 8:50 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 15

Okay I hope you can view these because I saved them as pdf files. Just wanted to show the wedding invitations, response cards, and the reception table cards I made. I feel so proud of myself because I saved soooooooooooooo much money by making them myself and I feel it has a personal touch because I did it myself without any template! Yay, I searched for patterns and just played around with fonts on my computer Smiley smile

I will print them on card stock probably and back it on black paper. The invitations are are about 5 1/2 by 7 1/2 and the response cards are like 3 by something (cant remember).

I didnt block our personal info because its nothing thats not already on our public website, lol.

If you see any MAJOR flaws then tell me, but otherwise Im really happy with them.

Very pretty! i like the horizontal invites- make it a little extra unique. One suggestion, it seems like a lot of brides have found it helpful to put, "____ seats are reserved in your honor" on their RSVP cards to help cut out people bringing extras. Don't know if you wanted to do this but i figured I'd put the suggestion out there.

    Very pretty.

Are you getting married in a church? I don't know if you mind the dashed line or not, but if you use the underline function and and space key, you can get a continuous line.

Have the year all on the same line.

and you can take the "and" out of the year.

Usually invites don't have the zip code on them.

and if I can be honest, I like the gold image at the top of the rsvp cards... but I don't really care for the line of them on the side of the invite. I think it would look pretty if it was more like the rsvp.

    otherwise, very nice.
