Bridesmaid Hairstyles

Ugh, this is such a catch 22 for me...While I totally see where you are coming from with wanting a seamless look...I feel for anyone who's ever been a bridesmaid and want to scream "don't do it!!!" if you can afford to pay for their hair, then by all means, give them instructions...but if you can't, then please don't.

My girls hair varies from very long to just below the shoulder. I am not telling them how to style their hair, just that they have it professionally styled.

I'm with Courtney. Don't tell them how to have it done. Just ask them to wear it up.

I will be wearing my hair down, so I will just ask if the girls can wear their hair up.

The only thing that I asked of my girls is that they have their hair down or 1/2 up 1/2 down. I wanted there to be a strong contrast between us. I had my hair up and the girls did their hair however as long as it wasn't completely up. Looked beautiful!

I also don't know about the body types of your party but not everybody looks/feels amazing in the same look. I know it's "Your day" but you still want them to feel comfortable in their skin.

I let my girls choose. I wanted them each to show off their personalities and personal style. Plus, they all have different lengths/textures and different face shapes. I wanted them to feel beautiful.

I let my girls choose as well. Like Mrs. C said I wanted them to show off their personalities and personal style. And I wanted them to be comfortable and feel beautiful as well. Plus I didn't want them to lool to matchy matchy.

I let my girls choose what they were comfortable with. I wasn't paying, so i did not feel it was my place, even as the bride, to tell them how to have their hair. As long as it was presentable, I was happy.

I am letting my girls choose. I am paying for their hair (got a great deal, thank heavens!) but they are each their own person, I will let them go with what makes them feel beautiful.

My girls are all wearing different dresses so I wanted their hair to look the same. I didn't want to pay for it (I'm doing my own hair!) so I just asked them to do it straight with a deep side part on the same side. I will buy them a sparkly clip for the side. Its up to you but I think you're going to want your hair to be significantly different from your BM. The hairstyle is cute though.

We're with Mrc C. FW is letting the BM's do whatever they feel comfortable with with their hair. Shoes as well. No 'matchy matchy' here.

I didn't even pick out my MOH's outfit. I told her to wear what she was comfy with.

At Cate's wedding hair and make-up artists were provided, however, Cate allowed each girl to reflect their own personality and what they thought looked best.

1 - My 17 year old hates her hair up and hates it half up/down. She went with long curls and also chose to wear the flower in her hair.

2 - The other MOH chose to have her hair pulled back.

3 - Another BM chose to have her hair down with the flower

I don't have pics of the two other BMs but both chose to wear their hair up.
