Am I going to get side eyed for this?

So we all know that wearing white to a wedding is a no no but what about wedding hair? I have a wedding in November and I was thinking of doing my wedding hair trial that day since a wedding is the only time I can think of that an updo wouldn't be too dressy. I have a wedding in November and I was thinking of doing my wedding hair trial that day since a wedding is the only time I can think of that an updo wouldn't be too dressy. I know it's early for a trial but I'm realllly not trying to pay 70 bucks to sit with pretty hair on my couch lol If somebody showed up to your wedding with an updo like this would you side eye them? What did you do after you got your trial done?

It's not really that fancy and I would want you to have good hair for my wedding! Cute hair do though!

Fabulous idea! You're not wearing white lace, white/silver/champagne/gold sequins, and probably my least favorite guest color -- fire engine red (notice me, notice me, notice me!) -- you're wearing an updo or a professionally styled hair to a wedding. Take note of everyone who says, "I love your hair". The more compliments you receive, the more confidence you'll gain,

    You go!

Nothing wrong with it. I've done my hair curled an in an updo for weddings before. I haven't gotten it done by a hair stylist, but looks like it was. You are fine!

I don't think you would get any side eye. But like PP have said, don't go in a veil, tiara, glittery hairpieces, etc

Definitely not. I have a cousin who pays to have her hair and makeup all done up for every wedding she goes to

I wouldn't side-eye anyone for "bridal hair" OR for wearing white.

I think you should be fine, I like that by the way. But I don't know if you want your FH to see your hair style if you are going with him of course.

I'm now kicking myself for not scheduling my trials before the next wedding I'm going to. That's a damn genius idea, girl.

You're totally fine. Go for it! Agree with comments about removing any headpiece or items in your hair.

This is a great idea! I don't have any weddings to go to anytime soon but I would definitely schedule my hair schedule for the day of so I wouldn't have to do it myself.

I would probably look at you and think to myself "ugh, I hate her, I can barely get my hair to braid right and she's over here with perfect hair" lol but I do that every where I go... Same with makeup lol. 29 and still can't get my eye line even. Ha. Seriously, you should be fine Smiley smile

I would go for it. I paid $90 for hair and makeup at my trial and took it out before I got home so FH wouldn't see it. I would have loved to get an event out of it.

    Nope! Do it.

I would take it as a compliment that a friend cared that much

I had a wedding three weeks before mine and used my hair trial for it. No one said anything!

That hairstyle is quite similar to an updo I do myself all the time. I've worn it to weddings and never a side eye in the bunch. Go for it.

With that style, I think it's fine to do the trial then
