Nothing wrong with it. I've done my hair curled an in an updo for weddings before. I haven't gotten it done by a hair stylist, but looks like it was. You are fine!

I don't think you would get any side eye. But like PP have said, don't go in a veil, tiara, glittery hairpieces, etc

This is a great idea! I don't have any weddings to go to anytime soon but I would definitely schedule my hair schedule for the day of so I wouldn't have to do it myself.

I would probably look at you and think to myself "ugh, I hate her, I can barely get my hair to braid right and she's over here with perfect hair" lol but I do that every where I go... Same with makeup lol. 29 and still can't get my eye line even. Ha. Seriously, you should be fine

I would go for it. I paid $90 for hair and makeup at my trial and took it out before I got home so FH wouldn't see it. I would have loved to get an event out of it.

I had a wedding three weeks before mine and used my hair trial for it. No one said anything!

That hairstyle is quite similar to an updo I do myself all the time. I've worn it to weddings and never a side eye in the bunch. Go for it.

With that style, I think it's fine to do the trial then
