Hello all,

So as a somewhat non traditional bride I want my reception dress to be different than my big, puffy, bedazzled ballgown that I will wear at my ceremony. I love the look of a dip dye and wondering people's opinions of this look for a reception on a cruise ship and if anyone has ever done something similar. Advice and opinions wanted !

I love this look! So unique and will really stand out in the photos. I'd be terrified to do that myself though, yeek!

Trust me I am horrified. Lol. I have a friend, or 3, who went to school for design and are helping design other aspects and accessories of my outfits. So if I mess up they can make it work somehow lol. I'll just watch YouTube videos over and over and practice on blank shirts until I think I'm a pro and thank you! I hope I can do it ...

I found a company that specializes in dip dyeing!! They even have a website, http://www.alteriaonline.com
I have been emailing the lady throughout the day & Marisela has been extremely helpful. Quick response to my emails & very informative about how certain fabrics will come out with dyeing. They are located in South Florida but I don't care cause I am getting my dress dyed the way I want it (once I find it!! Lol..
