Does anyone know of an app or website that is simple and offers way to upload guest name and their table number they will be sitting at. Where they can type in last name on tablet once arrived and it will pop up and tell them what table they are sitting at?

This is a cool and unique idea!! However, the problem I could foresee would be a longer line for the tablet, making seating time go longer than usual. Would you have more than one?

Okay this is an awesome idea. I just googled and found this site called AllSeated. It supposedly lets you organize the seating chart and use the app as a day of check in system as well. I'm going to try this out because initially i wanted to have people checking guests in but I think this is even better.

Yes! I tried but it seems to be a little confusing this is the only option I have really found! I was looking for a simple less complex one before I started with AllSeated! But I think it would be so cool and modern! If I find one I will let you know!

Yes and we are having a cocktail time after ceremony and I thought it would keep line down with people getting drinks then going to tablet to check in!
Yes we have two and family members have stated we could use theirs as well!

That's awesome!! if you can't find a specific program, you could always use a trusty Excel spreadsheet!

Just have guests use the "Find and Select" feature (the binoculars in the upper right hand corner), go to "Find" (with the binoculars again), and type in their last name. You can set your columns with their last name and table number and the find feature will take them right to their name. Then the next guests just have to delete the old name and type theirs!

It's not fancy, but it will work!

I kind of agree w/ everyone, while it seems like a great idea i can surely see some bottlenecking going one. Guests are going to want to enjoy cocktail hour and may not be able to enter the reception space until a certain time. Some may not even think about "checking in" on the app because they may want to enjoy all of the CH. I know its old fashion but have you thought of a seating chart or escort cards?

Yes I am doing hexagon acrylic name cards at each persons seat. Which is why I wanted to avoid making a seating chart and have 250 people searching for their name on the seating chart to find what table they were sitting at.
I thought this would be a quicker solution for guest to find their seat by typing in last name and then pops up and tells them table number
