Will there be different Religious groups at your wedding? Why or why not?

Yes, however, we don't share the same views so I consider them as different Religious groups.

For sure! It just means that the wedding doesn't follow any kind of script or rules. You can use whatever location you want, whatever vows you want, whatever religion/culture or lack thereof you want. It's not really a specific style of ceremony, just one that allows a lot of mixing-and-matching without breaking up the flow of a preset ceremony style. It was my fiancé's idea, as his friend who is officiating is qualified for humanist ceremonies, but conveniently it also does make sense for us considering the vast differences in our guests' cultures.

    Hi, Courtnee!

I'm sorry for the late reply. The following link is an amazing not too long read about Paganism.

    https://www.paganfederation.org/what-is-paganism/

I wouldn't want to offend anyone by sharing my views, as some find it offensive, for some reason. BASICALLY, Paganism is the earliest form of religions. Catholicism and Christianity have taken on many Pagan traditions. Such as the Christmas tree, the Easter bunny, Santa Claus, etc.

However, what differs drastically from Paganism and any form of Abrahamic religions is we worship the earth, mainly. If you're like me, a Norse Pagan, I have a close relationship to the Norse Gods, such as Odin, Thor, Freyja and the like. It's a polytheistic religion not relying on believing in just ONE god, if any at all.

If you wish to hear more or learn more, feel free to message me or reply to this message and I will be very glad to share more!

No worries, thank you for sharing! I don't personally have friends or family who are Pagan so I never took the time to learn, thank you for educating me on this.

My whole family and extended family has different religions. The wonderful thing about different religions is they all stem from the same basic moral values to love one another no matter what. So I shouldn’t expect their different views to effect my marriage as long as they remembering to love one another.
