Different ideas about Bachelor parties...

So in my eyes a Bachelor/Stag party normally went like this; some kind of dinner/food, lots of drinking, maybe a stripper...and then some raffles (50/50), and gift baskets. I normally assumed the money made went to the groom and it was a nice party and a little money for the groom. Is this what most...

Well FH is going to one next weekend but all they are doing is camping with the 4 of them (groom, 2 groomsmen, and a best woman), they are gonna have some beer and cook food...maybe do some hiking, and the best woman wants to go to wineries. Is it just me or does this sound like the best WOMAN is making this more into a bachelorette party? I'm not upset or anything, just wondering if you know of other stag parties like this?

Never heard of raffles at a bachelor party either. FH wants to do a day at the track with his friends (he rides a motorcycle) and then do dinner.

Never heard of doing raffles for a stag do', they'd be lucky to get fed round here.

Here it's normally make the groom look as ridiculous as possible, go on a very long pub crawl and then do something humiliating or a prank on the groom. Maybe at some point in the night stop for something like a kebab, chips or curry.

The more tame ones are about the same but start with something fun like bowling.

The older grooms/men without the student mentality lingering, tend to go away for a fishing or racing trip.

Think FH is doing a night of pizza, beer and xbox with his lads. Or stag vs hen do bowling with us.

We weren't going to do any parties or maybe do a group thing. But the Best Man told me he'd like to plan something small like going to a football or baseball game probably hit up a bar maybe. Who knows...FH says he doesn't want one (not our first marriages).
