Did you put your mom/dad/in laws on your wedding website?

MLS, on August 27, 2020 at 5:58 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 13

I am trying to decide if I want to put them on my wedding website. Like "mother of the groom" and whatnot. I kinda want to, but I am wondering what other people did.

I haven't yet. So far, I only listed wedding party (first names and last initials only).

I added our parents. Since not all of the guests know everyone from the other person's side, it's a nice touch.

I did not and they will not be listed on the invitations either. We did put our wedding party but our wedding party is also our kids.

I will only because I’m putting a wedding party section and technically they are part of the wedding party

I didn't put anyone on our website. I've heard of people adding their wedding party on there but I've never heard parents or anything being posted. I feel like if you really want to do it then go for it.

I wouldn’t, but there’s also complicated relationships in my case. If it’s something you want to do, go for it.

Parents are not considered wedding party as the attendants are. They retain the role parents, though 1 or both may es ort the bride.
If you want to do it, that is fine in terms of etiquette only if you ask them and they say it is fine with them. Some people do not like being included on other people's websites. ( It is considered a courtesy to ask all in wedding before doing any bio.)
