Did you cry when you found "the" dress?

I am planning on starting to look for dresses in the near future, and would love to know what all of your reactions were if you have already found yours!

I did not cry, neither did my mother. But both of us loved the dress and I felt extremely beautiful in it, so I knew it was the one.

I didn't cry, I like it, and the dress felt like "me" but there was no crying. I remember we left the store and I was looking at my friend and I was like, I like that dress, that's an awesome dress. So we drove back an hour to buy it... love me dress.

I got teary eyed. I actually tried it on 3 times between other dresses. I didn't react that way to any if them but "the one"

Nope. I am totally a crier and it was the most rational decision I probably have ever made.

"Okay, if you will let me take this sample, with the discount, I will buy it today."

Neither my mom nor I cried. It was the 3rd dress out of the 5 I tried on at the first place we went to. Our conversation went pretty much like this:

Me: "Well I think the 3rd one was by far the best."

Mom: "I agree. It was very flattering and [blah blah blah]"

Me: "Should we just get it now? Do we really have to go to fifty different stores?"

Mom: "I guess not. Let's get it."

    Me: "Ok cool."

I didn't even try the dress back on after I tried on the other ones. The consultant was like whaaaaaat don't you want to take pictures? We didn't care.

No, I didn't. But i kept standing up there staring at mself in the mirror.. I had to be up there for like 45 minutes. Everyone hat walked by kept saying how beautiful i looked, and how it fit me so well. I finally went back in the dressing room the consultant said it was on sale for $399. SOLD

No I didn't. I found my dress by myself but I felt absolutely beautiful in it and just wanted to dance around in it!

I didn't expect to cry but I did expect "the feeling" to be sudden and it wasn't. I tried on my dress 3 times before I pulled the trigger and the 3rd time I could picture my wedding day with it on!!

I really thought I was, but I didn't! I was just so excited that the excitement took over my emotions. However, my sister cried! lol! My heart sank when I looked at myself in the mirror & thats when I knew it was the one Smiley smile

I didn't cry when I tried it on at first, but then the next day my dad wanted to see the dress before we put a deposit on it, so he came back with my mom and I and I tried the dress on again with a veil, sash, etc, and then he started tearing up and that's when I started crying.

Nope, and I really was hoping I would, but I was way too logical about it. I went shopping with my FH, if I had been with my mom and sister I would have maybe teared up (but they're out of state). I sent the pictures to my sister in an email though and she teared up! I'll probably cry on the wedding day though!

I got teary because I felt like a bride, but I didn't cry. I DID cry after my first fitting because all my dress-regret was gone and I felt BEAUTIFUL.

I cried. I went to one appointment and tried on seven dresses. I was convinced the first dress I tried on was "the one" and was a little skeptical to keep going. I went shopping with my three sisters, mom, and godmother, who all wanted to see different types of dresses on me to test everything out. I tried on lace and satin and tulle and mermaids and drop waists and ball gowns and simple and ornate and ruffles and pickups and pleating. The only thing I wouldn't budge on was a strapless sweetheart neckline. When I put on the seventh dress though, I KNEW that the first dress was out of the picture. I was beaming and kept spinning around to look at it in the mirror. I didn't want to take it off. My mom was the one who started crying first. Then I started. Then everyone else did. All six of us cried. I am in love with my dress and cannot wait to wear it again.
