Did people actually use your hashtag?

My wedding hasn't come up yet (next month!!) but I personally use the hashtags at other weddings! Looking through my cousin's hashtag, he got a lot of photos/videos from us (family) and he barely advertised it.

I, on the other hand, am putting it mine on everything so I hope a lot of people use it Following this thread to see what others say too!

How did your cousin inform the guests about their hashtag? Where are you putting yours? I just don't want to overly advertise. I might look desperate. Hahaha

I always try to when I'm at a wedding, I'm 100% sure my fiance and his friends never do. We opted against using one. 1, we are friends with everyone going so they will tag us and we will see them. 2, if someone has a private profile and we don't follow them, we won't see the picture even if they use the hashtag haha!

They would post it on their Instagrams when they did wedding planning, and then a few days before the wedding they posted on Facebook/Instagram to use it. I think they put it under their monogram at the reception too.

I have already started teasing it on my social media (tagging my engagement photos/stories involving wedding planning), put it on my website, will put it on my welcome sign, and I'm planning on having a little 4x6 reminder ("Share the love!") on each table so everyone sees it. Lol. I definitely look desperate but at the same time I feel like it's not enough and people will forget

Honestly, I don't remember using hashtags on the previous weddings I've been to. More like I didn't see it being displayed.

I haven't even used mine yet on any social media. Hahaha I considered doing one per table too but I will see.
