Dhgate.com for Wedding Dresses?

Hey Fam!

I have seen many mixed (mostly negative) comments regarding the website DHgate.com. Before seeing these reviews I fell in love with this wedding dress (pics attached) .I have searched and searched online for other dresses but just keep coming back to this one that I want from DHgate. I am not from the USA, there are no wedding dress shops where I live so almost everyone orders online for wedding dresses.

I am so hesitant to use DHgate but I really love this particular dress and I'm wondering if to take the chance on it. Has anyone else used DHgate? What was your experience. Did you love the dress? Did it come as advertised?


Do you have any suggestions on where to purchase Modest wedding dresses? Kindly share website links below !

    That is gorgeous! Can you get cocomelody or jjshouse where you live? Those seem to be online retailers that have decent reviews.
    I would also check with Etsy, many do ship to non-US places.

    Go along with the majority of reviews. If most are negative, take that as a cue to look elsewhere. Etsy, Azazie and Cocomelody ship overseas. Also it may be cheaper to have the dress custom made in your area by a reputable seamstress.

    I would definitely not order from dhgate. I have not seen even one good outcome from that site. They steal stock photos from designer pages then the dress they send you is nothing like the picture. If you are just looking for modest wedding dresses, you could check out these sites

    Try the Modest line from Mon Cheri. I would also not recommend ordering from that site. Often, those pictures are lifted from the actual designer's website, and what you are paying for is a replica that someone else makes, likely in China. The quality and design are rarely on par with the original.

    I ordered my flower girl dress from this website. Yes it ships from China but you need accurate measurements. We had no complaints when the dress came in. There were a bunch of negative reviews but we figured it'll be a hit or miss and we would have time to order something else. Good luck.Dhgate.com for Wedding Dresses? 3

    I agree & I believe they steal photos too! I am so hesitant to buy from these sort of sites for this very reason.
