Destination wedding or traditional?

Alyse, on May 13, 2020 at 9:23 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 4
I was going to be doing a destination wedding in FL but with the covid restrictions we might be going with a traditional wedding. Any advice??

I know FL is open and operating however do what's best for you and your FH. I know it can be stressful during this time. If you weigh your options, I'm sure you will come up with the best plan.

I would personally go for traditional than destination esp given this pandemic and the aftermath of it

    What Melle said.

FL may be open, but Disney is not. People have been joking about using Disney as their weather vane on this, but it's actually a smart move. Disney's entire business model is entertaining and making people forget the real world. If they don't think it's safe to open, then I agree!

In addition, a lot of people are under different restrictions, have had a loss of income... travel may be difficult for the foreseeable future.

I would definitely have a more traditional wedding over a destination wedding. Destinations weddings are beautiful, but can be very expensive for guests. With the pandemic, a lot of people have been out of work and might not have the money to spend on traveling to a destination wedding. I would also be concerned because of any restrictions with the pandemic.
