Question, with a destination wedding, do the resorts/venues consider your wedding colors when decorating the venues ? A lot of the packages I’ve looked at already include ceremony decorations in which are not in connection with my wedding colors. So I’m just wondering how that would work. The package I’m interested in includes purple ceremony decorations which will not work for me. I’d hate to decline the entire package just for that. Can anyone tell me how that usually works

Which resort are you looking at? I researched a LOT of resorts in several countries and found that Most resorts offer a basic all white package or offer other set colors (like you can choose from these 3 colors for your flowers etc.). Sandals offers several different colors and themes. We chose Secrets because there are many more options color & decor wise and they’ll customize whatever you want (they’ll get you quotes and then you decide). A lot of resorts have a Wedding section on their website and you can look at options there. Feel free to ask me questions, happy to help you if I can!

We are really leaning toward Iberostar Rose Hall Beach in Jamaica, but the only thing that’s throwing me off is if I’m able to customize what I want. I will definitely speak with my coordinator tmrw to get further details on this. Thanks so much

Many places have several different colors. I am having a DW. Just contact the venue and ask them what colors they have/ if they can match your color scheme! Many can!! Good luck!

I would definitely talk to your venue coordinator. I had to provide my on decor for my DW.
