Destination Wedding - Groomsmen Attire

Not the same situation but we had our groomsmen buy their suits. For the suit, shirt, and shoes it came to about $10 more than a rental and all the guys felt that it was better to buy because at least they could keep the stuff for the money. Socks and ties are part of their gifts from us.


That being said, I would have them buy the pants and shirt because it would be very affordable and you could do the bow ties and suspenders as part of their gift.

I would have them buy their outfits because khakis and white shirts are very easy to find and not expensive at all

I would say buy it. With simple colors and outfits like that they can use it again throughout the trip or any other time

I agree. I think those items are not likely to be overly expensive so it makes sense to buy - then they get to keep them and honestly they'd be something they can easily wear again.
