Destination Wedding 2 weeks away

Jessica, on January 25, 2020 at 8:07 AM Posted in Planning 0 8
My destination Vegas wedding is quickly approaching in 14 days, 14 hours, 56 minutes....

What were you doing in those last few weeks to prepare for the wedding? Any advice? What last minute details or changes did you make? Just want to make sure I haven't missed anything.
Thanks!

We made a packing list and slowly put together all of the decor and various items we would need. Since you're having a destination wedding, I'm sure you're not packing a ton of decor, but this could still be helpful!

Pack a day-of emergency kit. Safety pins, bobby pins, a sewing kit, Tide to-go pen, makeup wipes, ibuprofen, etc.

Relax. You've likely been planning for months (or years) and this close to the wedding, whatever is going to happen, is going to happen. I'm a very high anxiety person and everyone was worried because I was so relaxed on my wedding day. I planned for two years and knew that at that point, there was nothing that I could do except enjoy myself.

Probably the whole month leading towards when I will be the strictest on my diet. I've already started getting back to eating better and working out regularly although working out is not the problem I just love carbs hahaha. Look up a timeline but that is also the time you want to start getting little maintenance stuff done so for example if you wanted to get any waxing my wax technician recommended no later than a few days in advance, if you're going to do any special facials or anything look into that just to make sure that if you have a bad reaction you have time for it to clear up.

I didn't think of an emergency kit. I will add that to my list. I'm a pretty calm person, but making list, spreadsheets, and have a box I am setting items we need to take as I go along.

Yes, I finally got my crap together on the diet train. Lost about 6 lbs. I have my last dress fitting today. My fingers even got smaller. My ring is twirling more. 🙄😆 I feel you on those carbs. Why do they have to be so tasty.

I have scheduled all my appts but my brows bc they're booked up. But I got on the waiting list. They're the best IMO. If not I guess I should book a backup.
I'm getting a hydrating facial. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks so much!!

I wish I booked myself a massage! I felt too busy and didn’t want to spend the money but it would have helped soooo much.

That is a good idea. I have a facial on Saturday. But may have to see if there is a place to her a massage in Vegas.
