Destination Honeymoon

I like booking travel myself. Going to places like Southeast Asia is really cost effective because it’s so cheap over there. We went to Japan for our honeymoon and that was pricey but that was such an amazing adventure. I think you should think about what your interests are too or what you and your spouse have always wanted to visit

DH's friend is a travel agent, and he gifted us his services and a discount, to plan our Disneymoon.

You *can* do Disney cheap, but it takes work. That said, Florida isn't reliably warm in that time period...

If you can make sure to avoid spring break, you can probably get good deals to nearly anywhere.

Our GO TO get away is Florida , usually Fort Lauderdale area - we just went march3-7 and it was just the perfect mix of fun, adventure, romance and didn’t break the bank

Do not use an online travel agency (like Expedia, etc) - if something goes wrong and you have to make changes, it’s significantly harder. There are often extra perks for booking direct.

I would book directly instead of 3rd party sites just to be on the safe side. Our honeymoon is next year Feb and we're going to St. Lucia for a week. We booked directly with Sandals Resorts so if we have any issues, it would be easier to get them handled.

My wedding is in October 2020 and we are doing our honeymoon Feb 2021. Kind of a Valentine’s Day/ honeymoon trip!

Bali would be my suggestion, but I won’t go there because we have been there multiple times, so it’s not special to me and DH anymore. 5 star hotel is relatively cheap, service is top notch, food is beyond delicious, and the weather is warm just how I like it too!
