I would look at a couple of "real wedding" posts online, and just start reading how brides verbalize their own wedding as well. For our wedding I would say something along the lines of:

Our wedding is a perfect representation of us, and it has been reflected in the details throughout the day. We selected a country rustic theme because John and I started dating after attending a country concert together. Much of the decor was made by myself, and includes elements that we both love and enjoy throughout the year. The most important aspect of our wedding was to be surrounded by our family and friends, as we are so grateful to have such a strong support system.

Classic fall wedding in Southern NH at a beautiful 100 year old castle. Short ceremony followed by a courtyard tented reception. Yummy food followed by live band and lots of dancing. Surrounded by 250 of our closest family and friends.
