Decorations for arch

Jill, on May 2, 2019 at 3:39 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 11
Our venue has an arch that we are able to decorate however we want, so I have been looking on Pinterest for ideas (of course). I found one with a pink drape(?) that I love...not sure what it is called. Do any of you know? Since I have no idea what it’s called, having trouble searching it to find out how to make it or buy it. I have attached a picture. Also if you know where I can look for whatever the heck that thing is called, that would be great too! Haha

It looks to be tulle fabric or like tulle fabric.. then they've made the flower arrangements.

You can buy a bolt of tulle at about any craft store pretty cheap (Hobby Lobby sales make it even better)

Try searching wedding arch fabric on etsy. I did a quick google and that came up with some options.

Its beautiful! I love it. My FH wants to build us an arbor to use so im still figuring out how to decorate it. Good luck!

It's probably just tulle or a similar fabric. We plan to do something similar with floral wire to keep the draping in place.

I think it's usually tulle or chiffon. You can rent it from places usually or buy it from a craft store.

It looks like chiffon to me. Chiffon is a very lightweight, nearly sheer fabric that drapes beautifully. I had my dress custom made with silk chiffon and I loved how the fabric felt and draped. Any fabric store should have chiffon.

It looks like Chiffon to me. I attached a link where you can buy it. I think that color looks like the "pink" or "peach" to me.

I don't think it's tulle; it's not as stiff as tulle would be. It looks like more of a chiffon. I ordered these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D1HTW9D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for the pergola at my venue. They come in pieces, but my sister is going to sew them together for me into one long piece. If you have a much bigger budget than I do, you can find one long piece chiffon on etsy, but it was way more than I wanted to spend on fabric for a pergola for like a half hour. haha.

It looks like tulle. Or something similar. I've seen those sold in rolls for pretty cheap. Hobby Lobby, Michael's, even Oriental Trading Co. in their Marry Me section. They come in lots of colors.

I legit texted my sisters this picture today and asked them what kind of fabric this was! My main color is dusty rose and I have this picture pinned like four times. Let me know if you find an exact match. I’m going to start looking into chiffon.

It's probably not tulle. It looks like more of a chiffon. I found some excellent fabrics from "https://www.fabricsworldusa.com" Fabrics World USA in NYC near me which was a nice weight, not too beefy.
