Decorations for a Vineyard Wedding

John Smith, on January 24, 2020 at 12:26 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4

Decorating is definitely going to be the most difficult item on the to-do list for me. I'm not a very aesthetic person. We're getting married at a Vineyard in July, and I'd love some ideas for decorations. I'm thinking lanterns and candles, but that's all I've got.

Our ceremony chairs are wicker and have arms on them. They're super comfortable but not the most pleasing to the eye. I especially need ideas on what to do with them.

Thanks!

We got married in a vineyard and just left things simple because the background was so pretty on its own! Decorations for a Vineyard Wedding 1

We've been to a few vineyard weddings, and typically they are pretty simple. They may have small floral arrangements like greenery or baby's breath or white/lace drapery but usually with the vineyards & mountain views, you don't need a ton of additional decor.

I’m sure the venue is gorgeous I wouldn’t do too much. Maybe some string lights for night time and lanterns. Greenery and a few flower arrangements for the alter area. Unless the chairs are really bad I wouldn’t worry about them.

I am doing some luminaries for outside with battery operated lights/candles. Inside I’m doing a large lantern (kirklands for $6 each) with a plain white candle. To add a little umph to it, I’m sprinkling rose pedals around it. Costco and Sams both sell bags of petals.
