So here’s a panorama of my ceremony venue! It’s absolutely beautiful right now in the spring time but I’m getting married in the fall! And the Appalachians will be breathtakingly beautiful when the leaves change color. But I’m having a super difficult time trying to come up with ideas on how to decorate without it being “all in your face” kinda. There are windows in the chapel. Our colors are navy, orange, champagne, dusty blue, and gold. My Pinterest board is overflowing with ideas but our budget is TINY! (thanks COVID). Peep pictures of my sweet soon to be MIL and our kiddos❤️ Ignore the mess of it currently! When not in use, it’s storage lol best part of this venue though isn’t just the view, it was FREEEEEEEE Decoration ideas? Struggling. 2

You can use tulle to wrap posts and drape between beams (in one color or multiples) or cut it to crate table runners. A 6" x 25 yd spool of tulle is $5 at Jo-Ann Fabrics so definitely affordable!

100-bulb strands of lights are about $7-$10 and vary in length from 24-30 feet. Not all of them are green (like you typically see on a Christmas tree)! You can also buy them in white, black, and other colors. The more fancy bistro lights skyrocket in price but you can find them for somewhat more reasonable prices online.
I am planning on setting strings of lights in the window sills of my venue, not just stringing them up high. Get creative with your decorating!

Oooh string lights would be really pretty!! 🤩

I feel like you actually don't need as much décor as you think once you've got the chairs set up and people sitting in them! 😄 Do you have ceremony chairs yet? I think white folding chairs would be really pretty!

You definitely want to decorate a focal point up front (two flanking floral arrangements, adding flowers to that cross, or some kind of backdrop), and some aisle décor would be the perfect final touch!

I really love the simple look of strewn petals lining the aisle:

I agree that once you get the chairs and guests in there you really won't need too much decor. I think that you could keep it very simple with some twinkle lights and tulle and be all set.
