Decorating reception ?

Nicole, on October 17, 2019 at 5:55 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 5

We are getting married at a brewery in the "beer garden" before we picked a venue I wanted to decorate the reception with candles and greenery. Now I am unsure if I even want to decorate or even how to because it is laid back which I am completely okay with.

we are using the picnic table & we are able to move them around how we light it.

The ceremony will also be in the open space you see in pic # 2 ...

Should I just leave it as is or ????? Help please.... wedding isn't till 10.10.2020

Your venue reminds me of a girl I know who got married a few years ago! She did a rustic/country that was fairly laid-back. Here are some pics from her reception.

You can keep it really simple with some candles and greenery to give it a bit more of a wedding feel.

I’ve seen brewery receptions that have simple centerpieces using growlers with baby’s breath or even fairy lights. You may ask to borrow some from the brewery.

I would say definitely decorate! you can do some simple things to really bring life to the space. This is such a cool space and such a unique idea, I love it! But stick with your original vision, you can do some tea lights (or the battery powered ones) and greenery to just make the space a little softer and to set it apart from everyday, so it looks more wedding. Here's some photos I found that I think might work great! Wildflowers in beer bottles with wood rounds, and burlap would be super cute.

I love it! We're having our reception at a brewery. We are using growlers with a flower in it as our center pieces and maybe a few candles.

I feel like these venues need way less decorating because they already have so much character.
