Again, I think it depends on the venue and how it is setup, as well as which one will be more accommodating and maximizing for the guest. It doesn't really matter to me as long is as everyone has a seat and is comfortable.

A mix preferably but our venue does round.

I like the rounds because they're more classic and traditional. But I love the look of the rectangles! So fun.

Rounds, as they are more inclusive. You can't really talk to someone 3 seats to your left if you're in a straight line, and I'd want my guests to be able to mingle.

I like the look of rectangles, but I think rounds work better.

Rectangle and square tables take up less floor space for seating the same number of people as a round.

I prefer rounds. They offer much more space to work with if you have fancy table settings and centerpieces. Rectangles are crowded and can be very difficult to get in and out of.

Neither. I prefer square tables the most.

I love the look of both of them! Round tables provide a more intimate feeling, where long rectangle tables provide more of an all-inclusive community/family feeling- that is why we decided to go with rectangles. I liked the idea of all our guests sitting at just one or two tables and everyone feeling like part of the party!

Round tables. Rectangle tables are boring and have painful corners. 😛
