I am a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Northern California.

Here is a little about me so we aren't strangers!

I grew up running around barefoot on the streets of rural South India. My parents were teachers, my friends were orphans, and yes I took bucket baths every day. We visited the States every once in a while where McDonald's, swimming pools and living room carpets were my highlight. We eventually moved to a little mountain town in North India in the foothills of the Himalayas where my love for photography and the outdoors began.

Photography has given me a way to connect with the world. I have a strong sense of visual and spatial awareness and have loved discovering nature and emotion through my lens. The first time I used a camera I was hooked. Since then, I have studied photography in college, worked for professional photographers, and now have my own business shooting weddings, engagements, and portraits.

What I love to portray in my photographs are the real moments - the laughing, hugging, crying, celebrating. I shoot from a photojournalist perspective, following the story as it unfolds, and not afraid to get dirty for that perfect shot.
