December Weddings — Cutting Back?

December bride here. I’m still planning as usual, our wedding will likely be under 100 guests even before COVID19. There’s no way for us to know what will happen with the virus over the next 6-7 months. With some states starting to plan how/when they are re-opening, that will give us a good idea of what to expect over the summer. If it goes well, then I expect everything will be fine by December.

How far along are you in your wedding plans? If you haven't sent out Save the Dates yet then it could be smart to start planing with a smaller guest list in mind - but otherwise it might be too early to change any existing plans!

How are you changing, rather than postponing, your wedding?

Still planning as usual. I'm worried because I have family coming from out of the country, but I don't even know what next month will look like so I can't bring myself to change things for my wedding in 7 months.

View Quoted Comment We have the venue and all of our vendors booked. We haven’t taken engagement photos yet so we have yet to send out STDs. I’d like to be on the hopeful side and invite people and if we have to change it last minute, to do so and maybe have a reception later, so we can still get gifts.
