December 2020 weddings!

Hi! My wedding date is December 20, 2020! We are from NE and are planning a winter wonderland destination wedding in the mountains in Utah! Our colors are ice blue, silver, white, and forest green accents.

We keeping the feel but more romantic with burgundy and blush, a little white, navy and silver and lots of greenery! We are Dec 7th, just sent STDs (many OOT guests) and I have my dress, our venue (all inclusive minus photographer) and our photigrapher all chosen. I've been ordering little things here and there like our plate and forks for cake, cake cutting set and champagne flutes! Just got a calendar made with our engagement pics to be our "Year out planner"! Will be starting the DIY process's and book our honeymoon starting next year you?!

View Quoted Comment It was great to send those out and I think it got FH to get more excited too! I just bought a dress online to try for the rehersal dinner as well. Other than buying little things I might find a good price on, we are going to let the rest of the year go on normally and then start a huge a mount at the beginning of the year. Our honeymoon lets us book 330 days out so February, our DIYs needs to start getting planned and worked on, FH is changing is last name so we want to get that done so we have time for any hiccups, and I want to get his ring bought fairly early incase they stop selling it or something (just waiting for a sale or so!) Those are our next things that are big and will take time, but letting the rest of the year go because last month was intense financially with lots of pop ups and bad news/drama and then all the big holidays are coming so busy busy! Whens your wedding?!

Where are you planning to go on honeymoon? It's great that you can book it so early!

I'm not currently planning my wedding. I actually work with WeddingWire on their forums answering members' questions and offering advice where I can. I'll be super prepared when my time comes around!! 😁

Thank you! Yours sounds pretty too! We have our photographer and our wedding planner, since it is out of state. Overall, it’s going to be very small and non-traditional so we don’t have much. We will be going on our honeymoon during the summer about 6 months after the wedding. I’ve started dress shopping and the wedding planner is venue hunting. We are planning to send our Save the dates in November of this year. The calendar is a cute idea!

Our wedding is December 5, 2020! We've been engaged since NYE 2018 and were originally planning a wedding in May so some of our planning was already done! We have our venue, photographer, and month of coordinator! Our wedding is Christmas inspired, not necessarily themed. We're from Texas so not much "winter wonderland" here unfortunately. We're still tossing around different color and decor options!
