Dealing with Body Insecurities

I agree with everyone else, you look amazing in your dress. The back is super pretty,overall very flattering. We’re each our own worst critics. I couldn’t see any arm or tummy issues.

In think you look beautiful in your dress and I see no problem areas. However, I am having body image issues from hell!! My dress isn’t near zipping so I have to get a corset back put in and I’m worried they will tell me that won’t even help. On the keto diet but only lost 4 lbs and now at a complete stall. Ugh!!

My best friend and I were talking about our own insecurities and when we told each other our insecurities, the other was like “really?” We focus on what we see as imperfections that no one else even notices. We just see our beautiful friend. No one is focusing on what you believe are your flaws. Everyone here thinks you look great and so will everyone who sees you in your dress so focus on that!!

It looks like we have similar body types, so I get exactly what you're saying. I was just looking at pictures of myself in wedding dresses wishing I could tighten my tummy and lose a little arm chub. But now, looking at you, I don't even see what I saw on me, even though my brain is like "oh, you look like her!" I wish that made sense, lol. Anyway, you look fabulous and your dress is perfect and gorgeous! If it makes you feel better, do some abs and shoulder exercises to tighten it up, but you really don't need it. You look absolutely gorgeous! You may not see that and that’s okay. You don’t have to til you decide. I struggle too with mine. I was a size 6 when I met my SO and I’m a size 10 now. Honestly what’s helped me love me in my dress has been the fittings. They bought my dress in a size 12 but they have taken it in so much! HA it makes me feel skinny lol Just browse through these comments, see yourself through our non judgmental eyes. What do you love about yourself in your dress...that’s so much more important than anything else.

I understand where you are coming from. I am a month away from our wedding and I have been stress eating like crazy and feel like i am gaining weight but you look amazing and your FH will love you no matter what.

I can’t see what you’re insecure about. You look absolutely stunning in that dress. However, I do understand how you feel. Don’t let it get you down. You really do look gorgeous and I’m sure you’ll feel that on your wedding day.

I’ve been staring at your picture for awhile now trying to figure out what it is you’re insecure about because YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING GIRLFRIEND! You could not have picked a more perfect dress. My wedding is next year and I have a lot of weight to lose. I don't want to be a fat bride, chubby is one thing. So, I really need to hit it. But, I'll definitely have my body flaws.
