Dealing with Body Insecurities

I LOVE your dress, it looks amazing! The back & sleeves are great. I honestly don't notice the problems you discussed. Wedding dresses are a lot just because you aren't used to wearing a floor length fancy gown, that's super typical!

I actually do not see what you are insecure about. You look great and your dress is beautiful! I'm sure your fiance will think the same once he sees you!

Your dress is beautiful and you are beautiful. It's hard for us sometimes to know our value and worth and insecurities can be very large when it comes to things like clothing. Clothes are supposed to be our way of expressing ourselves and they can truly make you feel confident or insecure.
You're going to be beautiful no matter what you're in.

You look amazing! Honestly I think a looser fit wouldn't look as good. Especially in the bust, it's better to have a properly fitted chest area because it's most noticible. I think you have a great hourglass shape and the dress is lovely with the lace. It's feminine with a bit of sexy, which I think is a great look.

I think everyone is insecure about their tummy in the dress at first, I got a level three Spanx and wow. It's like I dropped 20 pounds. So if you're really upset you can try that but I don't think you need it.

But i totally get you, I HATE how i look too my arms especially, so at work every time i go to the bathroom I do 25 trisept arm dips (there's a chair in our work bathroom that i use) so by the end of the day and all the water i drink it ends up being like 200 dips 2 weeks so far and I'm already toning up!

I don't see anything to be insecure about. I don't see a tummy or arms that you should be worried about. You look amazing. I think it's natural. I wanted to lose weight before I went dress shopping, then I had to realize my guy loves me like I am, proposed to me like I am..sure i'm self-conscious of my jiggly arms, but I love my dress and I love Rob..when he looks at me he still sees the 15 year old he first kissed at a dance...

I'm going to be honest with you. When I saw the picture I didn't see anything wrong with it, and after reading your post I still don't see any problems. I think you look amazing, but if you don't feel comfortable then you should change it. But I'm telling you, you look great!

I don’t see what your insecure about but then I don’t live in your body & see what you see when looking back at yourself in the mirror. I’ve recently lost a decent amount of weight, not where I want to be but am still insecure myself. I think it’s normal. Just try to get out of your head. Your beautiful!

Like others, I don't see any insecurities, you look gorgeous - but I know it's about YOU feel. Question, have you tried your dress on at home away from the sharp light of the bridal store? The mirrors and the lights at the bridal shop made me look awful, I finally found a dress that I felt "ok" in, but when I got it home & tried it on, I loved it so much more.

I'm not seeing anything to be insecure about. I think sometimes we pick out whatever flaws we think we have and focus on those assuming others see them, too. However, most people are looking at you thinking wow I wish I had her smile or hair, etc. Other people don't always see our flaws the way we see them!

If you're feeling insecure about a form fitting dress, I get it! I'm pretty small and I still feel uncomfortable showing off my body in anything too tight. Just find an undergarment that holds you in a bit if for no other reason than just to give you some peace of mind.

Either way, wedding dresses are designed to be incredible flattering, and the details of the dress are what draws the eye- the lace edges, the buttons, the shape of the veil, the silhouette- so people aren't at all likely to notice anything that would be an insecurity,

You look amazing in your dress. I think everyone gets some insecurities from time to time. You just have to think about more why you love the dress then what you hate.

I honestly don’t see what you’re seeing. You have a flat tummy and toned arms. It’s a beautiful dress and you look beautiful in it. I think we all have insecurities, especially when we know all eyes will be on us. People will not see your flaws. they’re going to see a gorgeous bride and think about how lucky your husband is.

Everyone is insecure with something. My step daughter was concerned with sun spots on her shoulders. I told her no one is going to be looking at your shoulders.
The things you are concerned about no one will even notice. I hope you can overcome this and learn to just relax and enjoy the day. It goes by so fast. BTW you look absolutely stunning in that dress. You rock it in the dress salon so rock it on your day.
