I just got my dress and it's a lot poofier than I expected. I love it otherwise. Any suggestions on how to make it less poofy?

Your seamstress should be able to take out some layers of tulle.

I second the alterations. They can usually take out a layer or two of the poof relatively easily.

I agree with the others. Your seamstress should be able to "de-poof" you during alterations .

Mine was poofy also so I had my seamstress take out a layer of organza.

I had two layers removed from mine. That was sufficient. You can ask your seamstress to help.

Yay. I have this same issue. The dress I tried on isn't as poofy as the one in my closet. This is comforting.
