Day of wedding makeup

It’s finally 2021! Congrats to all my 2021 brides!!!
So transportation will begin pick up at 2p the day of my wedding. I have 11 people getting their make up done including myself. The makeup artist is asking when should makeup be done by? I know that I will be the last to be done. I was thinking 1p? Is that too close? Help!

    Well depends. How many make up artists? If only one for 11 people I would start early morning. You maybe being the last at 1 for any last minute touch ups. Can you get additional artists as 11 people sitting around for hours would be long for me. I would say done by 1:30 is good and have her factor 11 people.

    I think if you plan to be done by 1pm or 1:15, and transportation picks you up at 2pm, that should be enough wiggle room! Just in case anything runs over, you will have a little bit of a buffer. And if you end up having extra time, you can relax and listen to music with your bridal party!

    Talk to your photographer. If you are planning on doing a first look or any photos before the ceremony, your photographer will be able to advise what time she/he will need you ready by.

    Our photographer is the one that told us when we needed to have hair and makeup done by so maybe talk to your photographer if you plan on doing any photos ahead of time.

    That seems rather odd. Makeup artists and hairstylists generally provide you with a timeline based on the number of people they have to work on, not the other way around. Ask your photographer.

    Hey! I’d say 1pm is cutting it a little too close. You don’t want to have to rush to get ready because that can cause unnecessary stress. Maybe 12:30?
