Day of Wedding coordinator

My officiant and caterer are working together to make the day go smoothly. Everyone has the event timeline and who’s doing what so maybe see if yours would do the same? I was definitely not expecting them to do it though.

We are getting one. We’re going to factor it in our budget.

I had one and it was the best decision. She really helped my day go smoothly, set up and cleaned up the day. Highly recommend

We have ONLY a day of coordinator affiliated with the venue. I can handle booking all the vendors myself and I just keep them in the loop when I book each vendor by sending them the name and contact info. I had a DOC at my 1st wedding and it was a weight off my shoulders. She handled everything and I was free to enjoy the day.

One of the perks of the venue we chose was that the owner acts as your day of coordinator. She came highly reviewed as being worth the cost of the venue alone.

View Quoted Comment Read some reviews and see if the DOC is worth it. Some ladies on here have said their venues DOC are only considered about the venue and not the bride/wedding. I joined a local Facebook page and got opinions/looked through old reviews on there to confirm she actually is concerned about you and your day. I do suggest using a Facebook to find a local wedding group to get reviews as a lot of the reviews on here seem to only be positive and you aren't able to leave a negative one.


But if it were me in your shoes, I'd go all inclusive, way less planning. 😂

My venue provides one. I would try the thumbtack app to get a better price range.
