Ok, yesterday I had a minor freak out (probably a bit more than minor), but today is much better.
First off - it's my last day @ work before the wedding. When I return to work I will be a Mrs.!
Secondly - FH & I have figured things out. We had 3x people who previously RSVP drop out last minute (1x of which was a bridesmaid - let's not talk about that 1x). I know that no-shows are a part of life, but it was hard to know that we already had 3x. I spoke to the DOC, originally we were going to add cocktail shrimp. It was the closest dollar figure, but it was only 100x shrimps & we have 133x guests. So instead we asked if we could reallocate that money for a candy bar. We were able to - albeit it's a bit more than the amount, but it reflects us more - FH has a huge sweet tooth. Although, I am not a fan of the added stress - I must say that after all this I really do feel like FH & I are a team, and it makes me feel like we are so ready for not just the wedding day, but the marriage part.
Third - the bridesmaid who dropped out, still bothers me, but it's a lot less now than yesterday. In part because all of the work to remove her has been done, in part because while I know that she caused the week to suck, at least it's over with - and her drama won't be there for the wedding, I also love knowing that she will not be in any photos - if she pulled this stuff after the wedding, then she would still be in our photos. But now, I don't have to worry about that. I also drafted a long letter to her, detailing how her selfish ways hurt me. I'm hoping that my anger subsides & that I never send it to her, but if I have to I will send it after the wedding.
Today is my H&MU trial - yep I waited till very last minute. And I am so proud of myself, I remembered my veil, headband, & white t-shirt. I also did what was instructed & washed & dried my hair w/ no product & light flat iron. My hair is very, very long (3/4 of the way down my back) and very, very thick - so this was definitely a time consuming task as 6 am.
8 more days - so much left to do, but I got this.
Good luck to all of the upcoming brides!
