So I'm curious as to what everyone's Davids Bridal horror story is. I recently decided to order sample invitations because they were free and I'm curious about shipping and it has already been awful! When I'm on the app, it says the order has shipped but I have no other information than that. When I go through my email, it doesn't even have a tracking number but it 'shipped' on the 28th. I was really not wanting to have a bad time with them because I'm in a small town and they seem to be the only department wedding store unless I want to drive about 2 hours out of my way. Any suggestions on where I should go or what I should do? I'm considering just ordering invitations from Etsy but that doesn't exactly help with dresses. Thank you so much!

Davids Bridal was the first and only bridal store I went into. My sales rep was very tentative and she made my experience great. We picked out as many dresses that I liked and I tried them all on, there was a total of 6! She was patient and understanding. If you're wanting a more personal experience then I would suggest going to a smaller bridal store.. keep in mind Davids Bridal is a chain store so they have more brides come in than a family owned/more private store. I also scheduled my appointment during a weekday before 5pm so I was the only bride there.. I go back to DB for my alterations this month, I hope my experience is as great as the first time. Hate that place. I am a street size 12. They ordered my gown in a size 16 because she said that's the size that would fit perfectly. Well when my dress came in, it was huge and alterations are needed everywhere. The dress was right at 700 and now alterations are 500. The damn dress was huge in every aspect. I'm convinced this is how they screw you over big time. I'm sure they knew to probably order me 1 to 2 sizes smaller but instead made a huge profit off of me. I was beyond mad at them.
