So I just got a call from some place saying I won a prize. I know I should have hung the phone up immediatly...but she knew all of my information! She knew my name and my Fh's name which I suppose if someone really wanted to know wouldn't be hard to find. But what really got me was that she knew the wedding date, number of bridesmaids, number of groomsmen, that we're having a ring bearer and not a flower girl and that I had an appointment at David's Bridal last Thursday!! The only people that knew that much were my famill and of course David's Bridal. Do they really give all your information out to spammers? And have any of you gotten this call before? This is the website for the people who called me saying I just needed to go to a demonstration at our local Marriott Hotel and at the end I would receive my prize... yea sure.

I've gotten several calls about free honeymoons and cruises and packages, but these were all from a bridal show that I'd been to.
The only thing that I've gotten due to DB is calls and mailings from Mens Warehouse for tuxes. When they called told them all my men had their own tuxes and we are in no need of their service. I havent had any other calls, but still get mailings.
Other than that nothing. I got my dress back in early Jan.

If you are looking to order dresses online I highly highly recommend www.perfectbridal.com I saved a TON of money going throught there and they were very easy to deal with, and they are 100% authentic designer gowns, so I just went and tried stuff on at a local bridal shop and then ordered it throught perfect bridal

Got my dress from DB and have had no problems with them at all and no phone calls---yet

I bought my dress, BM dresses, and MOB dress at DB. The only information that was given was to Men's Wearhouse as well. And that was fine since it was next door to the DB I went to and we were planning on using them anyway. Haven't gotten any phone calls or spam mail though. The only stuff I got was AFTER my announcement ran in the paper which was BEFORE the DB appt so I know it wasn't them.
