Just curious, How long did you and your partner date before being engaged? My husband and I dated for exactly 3 years before he proposed. We made it official 10.06.16, he proposed 10.06.19, and we got married 10.06.20 What about you?

    We started dating 10-31-2015, and got engaged 6-19-2021, so about 5 1/2 years. And completely worth the wait ❤️

    OOF my FH and I were dating for 8 years before he proposed. I was really really really patient these past couple of years, always bringing up rings in a joking way, especially when a bunch of friends and family around us were getting married! We both knew it was coming eventually. We were just waiting to finish school, have stable jobs, and save money. I don't regret waiting so long, I prefer it over knowing him for a year then getting married which seems like that is starting to be the norm these days!

    We met during our junior year in HS and he wanted to ask me out but he was too nervous, so after a year I finally asked HIM out LOL.

    He proposed the night before our 8 year anniversary and our wedding will be a couple of days before our 9 year anniversary!

    09.26.12 = began dating

    09.25.20 = engaged

    09.24.21 = married!
