Oh yes that's understandable!

We have been together 13 years this month, and engaged for 4 years now. We had some family deaths, I was in nursing school and it was just too much. Now we finally get to plan our day with our boys.

Got together November 11th 2018 and engaged July 5th 2020! Wedding in February 2022

Dated only about 6 months before getting engaged, but with the pandemic we put our wedding off, so our engagement will end up being close to 2 years by the time the wedding rolls around

We were together for 8 years in March of 2020 and then he proposed in April of 2020. We ended up eloping in March of 2021 due to COVID, but we will be together for 10 years by the time we have our wedding. We've been through a lot and it taught us alot, so I know some people think he dragged his feet, but we grew up together in our 20s, supported each other through grad school, and then eventually through our careers. I wouldn't have it any other way as we experienced so much life together and made it through extreme rough patches, debt and financial strain from grad school, when we could have called it quits with no strings attached, we stuck it out. 💕

Dated for just over 7 years before he proposed but granted we met young so our timeline looks a little different than some.

My FH waited 5 years to propose. We started dating in 2015. Had our foulest child together in 2016, the second came in 2020 and he proposed that same year.
