We began dating March 2014, and I always told him I wanted to wait until I was finished with school (I graduated December 2019 with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling) and June of 2020 he proposed! So we were together for 6 years before he proposed!
Hiiii ❤ So my husband and I were together 5 years before I proposed to him, lol we got married in our apartment on 03/20/2015. In March 2020 my husband proposed to me 😁 naturally I was surprised and he said I deserved a "real" wedding, lol. Our new wedding date is 10/06/2022 and we've been going 12 years strong.

We've been together for 10 years before he proposed. 06-11-2012 Is when we started dating 06-11-2021 is when he proposed and 06-11-2023 is when we finally tie the knot 🥰💖
We dated for almost exactly 3 years before he proposed. Started dating 10/7/17, proposed 10/3/20. We're getting married on our 5 year anniversary (10/7/22)!
Oh so you pretty much already know about it just waiting for it to happen? I'm happy my husband didn't say anything about a ring etc. I wanted it to be a complete surprise & it definitely was.
I don't know if it's because we're in our mid-forties and this will be first marriages for both of us, but we're just really open and honest about everything, especially where we want the relationship to go and making sure we're on the same page. At our age, life is moving way too fast to beat around the bush. We talked about it at the beginning of this year and he told me it's a relief already knowing what my answer is, though I tease him that the jury is still out. Now he can relax and plan a proposal and he's really excited about it. We both knew early on that marriage was what we wanted and for us, it was good to get it out on the table.
