Custom wedding sneakers

I got white high-top converses and my husband got black high-top converses and our decorator/florist decorated them for us. One side had our wedding date the other had bride/groom. I had her put gems on the front of mine.

Daughter wore Converse (her shoe of choice whenever possible). She ordered them in the main wedding color (regular not high-tops). We took them to a local shop that does custom t-shirts and hats. They put her new name (Mrs. Whomever) on the outside of one shoe and the wedding date on the outside of the other, in gold sparkly script (it was a heat transfer process). Her dress was a long, full-skirted a-line, so the only time her shoes were visible were when she lifted her skirt to walk up or down stairs. Her shoes were super cute, very comfortable and completely her!

I think sneakers are a great alternative to dress heels for your wedding! It allows you to be comfortable on the day where you need to walk around the most.
