Custom hangers: was it worth it?

I'm considering either purchasing or making some of my own custom hangers for myself and my BMs. For those of you who have them - was it worth the time & effort (DIY) or the cost (purchase)? And did you put names or titles (ie. "Kristin" or "Bride," "Danielle" or "Maid of Honor")?

    I got generic bride / groom etc. I want to be able to sell them after the wedding LOL
