Crying at your wedding?

I cried when I wrote my vows. I choked up a bit during my vows but didn't cry during my wedding.

I kind of laughed later on, but I mostly cried when I saw my dad crying! That man doesn't cry. I think it was too nervous to cry of my own accord lol.
I also cried a bit when my BIL was giving his Best man speech! It was really sweet and genuine.

As soon as I began walking towards my husband, I was crying and continued to cry the entire ceremony lol.

We're still 2 1/2 weeks out but I'm betting I will. Lol I'm not generally a crier but I have been unusually emotional with this wedding stuff so I'm probably going to be a big baby! Lol

My husband and I adore each other and even though we are older and second-time-arounders, I always knew it would be lovely and emotional and tough to get through vows without crying....which I did NOT want to do...so we decided to just write up a very quick ceremony with the standard 'repeat after me' vows. Then about a month before the wedding, I received a cancer diagnosis. (I am fine, don't worry -- kicking it squarely in the backside!). Well, all bets were off at that point, so I needed extra help. There's a movie (A League of Their Own) with a famous funny line "there's no crying in baseball!"....so we planted a couple of strategic props (baseball jersey and glove) near where we were going to stand so that if I felt emotional, I could slightly divert my eye and remind myself to laugh and smile instead. We had practiced a lot, so I thought I would be totally fine. Right. We started walking down the aisle and two steps in, HE starts crying non-stop! I had no shot. We were both a mess, and it was lovely and emotional and I wouldn't trade the experience for the world!

I am so surprised that I didn't!!! I was for sure thinking I'd be an emotional hot mess the wedding weekend, but I wasn't. Anytime I listened to our wedding music during wedding planning, I'd cry; or anytime I let myself reflect on the fact that I'd be getting married, I'd cry. But the wedding? Nope, didn't shed a single tear. Which is awesome, because I am not a cute crier and my make up was very expensive, lol. We truly just had fun with everything, and kept the mood light so we could enjoy ourselves.

I cried while writing my vows, and several times while just thinking about our ceremony 🙈😂 on the day of though, I was honestly so in shock that it was actually happening that I didn’t cry as much as I thought. My husband on the other hand, was SOBBING the entire ceremony. He actually cried at our rehearsal too hahaha. I did well up at our ceremony during his vows and while I was reading mine, and we were passing a tissue back and forth during our ceremony lol. Then I almost cried again when our videographer took us outside for a “private first dance” which was something I had never thought to do, but was absolutely amazing and way more emotional than the first dance in front of 100 people!

I cried the whole morning after I left H's room (we stayed the night together the night before the wedding). I also had some tears when I read his letter to me before the ceremony and coming down the aisle, but no big/noticeable tears there.

I always cry at weddings.. even people I barely know! I'm sure all of my family crying around me will get to me.. but I'm sure it will be the pretty cry I hope my FH cries a little! But I'm trying not to get my hopes up, because that's an unfair.. I don't want to put too much pressure on him to meet my expectation lol

My husband and I both cried during at least 4 or 5 times during the whole day!

I didn’t cry at all but H cried during our first look and during the ceremony. It was cute because the officiant paused and asked if he needed a tissue and he replied “I do” which for a great laugh from everyone.
