Cringe worthy GoFundMe's

I kinda feel sorry for this kid that she legitimately thinks this is ok. like who raised her this way?

My friend DID just start one which I'm going to donate. She just found out her dog (2) has a congenital heart defect and without surgery they're giving her about 6 months. She's trying to raise the money to save her pet. Legit use of Go Fund me. Vacation? GO fuck yourself.

"In dire need of a vacation". Aren't we all?! How entitled can they possibly be???

A girl I know made one so she could go live in Ireland for a few months, we went to a wedding in December and they a go fund me instead of gifts. So much side eye

Oh gosh MoonRide and I thought I had past tenants from hell... On another note, the sense of entitlement in this country is outrageous.

I had a friend whose son needed emergency brain surgery to have a tumor removed. Someone on her friends list on Facebook stole her picture and started a go fund me. She didn't even know about it or want it. She was able to have it taken down. But it was crazy how easy it was for someone to make one.

Just show the state of children these days to think they are entitled to a vacation wth

I have seen gofund for weddings. I honestly thought it was a fundraiser for people who are sick or funeral cost.

You all going to laugh but I found it funny not to long ago my friend did a gofundme for her and her son to do a trip to Florida. Last time she went to visit her fam was 2010 and wanted to do a raise for a tripnot a disney trip but to visit family. Someone commented saying she could save and within a yr she should have but she don't work due to her back.

I went to Disney twice with my kids last yr we went to Virginia and this yr I don't know what vacat we do prob local but all the fam trip we do is all cause we saved. It's insane how people take the gofundme page and make a joke for dream wedding or trip

@gaby one of my sorority sisters did that too! It was like fund my trip to Morocco blah blah. I think it got like $30...it was to extend out her trip abroad to another country.

My sister did one for her cat Chester, he needed some crazy random surgery and she's in college. She didn't post it around though just sent it to family and we all chipped in.

I don't really give money out except for one friend. Her daughter is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She just found out last yr in July. My friend is raising 10K and so far she's upto 7K. She did a funraising in our old HS. A lot of the community came together in support. Has has 3 more yrs of chemo treatment. She has been transfer to the Children's Hospital in Philadelphia where they have the best doctors.

I am appalled. This is so gross. If I were her mother I would be ashamed. What kind of stress does an 18 year old girl have that requires her to ask for money from people to go on a vacation? This has got to be a joke. The purpose of that site is for people who have serious health problems, donating to causes, or simply helping people in serious support because of a freak accident or sudden illness. Wow just wow!

I've seen so many completely ridiculous and entitled ones! Even some that start sounding legit have ended up being crazy. A girl I went to hs with posted one to help hey pay for surgery- seems legit- then she posts that she needs the money because the surgery is elective and not covered by her insurance but it's faster than the other option that will solve her problem. What does faster matter you ask? Because it'll let her be out of work for a shorter time. Ok, that still sounds legit. Oh wait- the reason she needs to be out of work a shorter time is so she doesn't have to use vacation days and cancel the trip to Greece and Italy she has planned this summer! I'm sorry sweetie but if you can't afford the surgery, and there is another option looks like you're gonna have to postpone your vacation and use the other option.

I effing wish! Being a high school senior wasn't easy, but the only responsibilities I had was to have good grades, volunteer, and arrive at my part time job on time. I'm going to Mexico for the first time (ever!) this year, and it's for my wedding! My mom is 54, and has never even had a passport until we decided to get married in Mexico. (I'm so excited for her!!)

On the other side of this, I just saw my cousins friend post a Go Fund Me for 500$ until pay day. Like what the actual hell.

Lol. GoFundMe is becoming horrendous. I had a Facebook friend post this gem. She and her FH shared it to their FBs every few hours for 4 days before she deleted it because it go no donations.
