Crepe wedding dress shows everything

What about a wedding dress slip?

We are in the same boat! I bought a pair of yummy tummy (I think that’s the brand name) shapers that go from my waist to my knees. I ended up going into a lingerie shop and showed them my dress so they could steer me in the right direction.

Do you have a photo of your dress? I have the exact same issue with mine unfortunately. I originally wanted all crepe but went with something that had a little detailing through the midsection because I didn't want to be worried about looking pregnant if I eat/drink anything. Love the look of crepe but it's definitely a difficult fabric.

I didn’t want to post my full dress but hopefully this will help you & others to assist me with what to do. I ordered two bodysuits on amazon that go from under the busy to mid thighs (because those also show). Hoping to try it this week

That gorgeous!! I think you might have to go all the way to the knee because of the way the dress flares out. I've considered skipping the spanx altogether. Let me know if the new ones you bought do the trick!

Thank you! I tried both of these pairs and had to return. The dress still shows my thigh and hip flexors...both of these did help my tummy muscles. I have order two more options so hopefully they will work.

What does your dress look like? Mine is crepe with some lace/beading coming to about my belly button. I bought some spanx that come below my knee and they seem to work. I'm not 100% sure you'd be able to hide the seam if there's no detailing on the top though.

Seamless spanx have definitely helped to smooth a little bit, but I’m still running into the problem of my thighs showing through... picture attached from my first alterations appointment when she had it pinned...

Definitely not the sexiest but they did the trick for me! I’m not wearing them in this photo but I’ve tried them on at alterations appointments
