10/31 here and we are a go as well! Congrats. Our weddings may not be exactly as we thought they would be pre-covid but they will all still be beautiful and special. Congrats!

This gave me so much hope! I'm getting married *hopefully* in Maryland on July 25. Our reception venue is technically considered outdoor, so they're feeling very optimistic but haven't given the complete go ahead yet. Still waiting on our ceremony venue because it's the Naval Academy Chapel... They're technically exempt from local/state government rules because it's a military base, just waiting (not so patiently) for the Superintendent to make a final call on weddings.

Me too Leah! Our honeymoon was to be at Sandals Royal Bahamian but just got call won’t open till November. Bless his heart, fiancé trying to see what are options are. I haven’t sent invitations yet because county is still in yellow phase. If you don’t mind me asking, where is your original honeymoon and have you sent invitations?

Yes! I love reading your joy & good news...definitely need a pick me up after the past few months. The stress has gotten me down at times too from worrying and other couple’s stories and concerns. Rightfully so we are all in this together 😊

I'm really glad for you. My wedding is August 29, and I was beginning to think that I'm the only one here who's not postponing to next year.

Ceremony is outside and reception is inside. We are in a smaller ballroom with a great view, but my venue is a hotel and they have much larger ballrooms, so in a worst case scenario hopefully one of those would be available and we could relocate there. Fingers crossed!

Update: Good news Erie, PA in Green phase starting next week!!! August wedding moving forward! Joy in my heart ❤️ for anyone struggling with cutting guest list, my dad called the parents and made it simple for us: all parents were agreeable to cut their friends as a parent-team effort and we cut extended friends to have a family only and bridal party wedding. Most are local or within state to minimize travel risk. Masks are to be worn by guests only when moving about, not at dinner and not outside. We are having cocktail hour outdoors and after dinner moving the party outdoors again. No head table, just sweetheart table and guests to sit with households as best as possible. Less than 10 to a table. Significant dances ok but no dance floor. Plan on dancing outdoors. We are making it work and very happy!! Hope this info helps!! ❤️

Congratulations! So happy for you. I honestly want all of us to have the wedding we always dreamed of. Planing a wedding during this pandemic has been a roller coaster of emotions.

Also in Maryland my venue said they will put 5 people at a table instead of 10 for social distancing. I had to cut my guest list in half.

Yeah, my understanding is it depends on I your venue. Mine is opening @ 50% which just limits us to 120 (fine for us) and then I’ve heard some
Venues are still placing more limits. Mine has advised me that they will allow as much as they county health sept allows for them

Wow! That’s crazy. You were okay with cutting your guest list? What about dancing? Masks? I feel like Maryland hasn’t been clear at all about what should happen with weddings.
