Covid Wedding ideas

Our original wedding date was on May 9th 2020 but with all the madness of the virus we decided to just go ahead and get legally married and had a small ceremony with 10 people (just parents and siblings) on April 4th 2020 and We rescheduled our original big wedding to August 22nd 2020 with all our friends and family. I didn’t wear my actual wedding dress or veil, and we saved our personal vows for August to make that date as special as possible. So we are in search of some cute/funny/sentimental ideas for our “wedding” to do anything differently to make it more special or just to be different since we are already technically married. Example, since we already exchanged rings we had the idea to exchange ring pops 😂. So please please help us come up with some ideas so make things special and cute! Example, how we walk down the aisle, cutting our cake, first dance, how my dad gives me away (again), send off, stuff with our bridal party, pictures our unity thing for the ceremony! Anything! 😊

Personally I love the ring pop idea! I think maybe a up beat “first” dance would be fun. If you are embarrassing the fact that you are already legally married, a “oops we did it again” sign in one of your photos would be hilarious 😂

The ring pop is such a good idea ! If you have a ring bearer you can have them walk down the aisle with a “here comes the bride again” sign instead of the regular “here comes the bride”

Hi Lacey,
This discussion is SO much fun!! I love this idea.
A lot of couples I have talked to are concerned about COVID and what precautions to take when having a lot of guests at their wedding. In the past, I've heard of couples making customized coozies to hand out at their reception. Instead of coozies, I thought it would be funny to do customized masks for your guests to wear! They could have your names or wedding date, etc.
But, I am also loving the suggestions above as well. Let us know if you think of any other fun ideas!

Oh yeah I thought of that too!! 😄I thought about maybe doing small personal hand sanitizer bottles with a label of our names and wedding date but I’m trying to think of some pun to put on it. My sister did chapsticks for her wedding favor and theirs said “our love is the balm” 😂. so if you have any ideas for a pun like that let me know!
