Hi! Are you looking for venue suggestions? Or precautions you can take?

Hi Love! Do you have a wedding venue or any vendors booked yet? Or are you just starting to plan?

I'd check the local covid restrictions to get an idea of the possible scope and size of your wedding, and you can also check out what other WeddingWire couples are doing to help their guests stay safe:

We had our civil ceremony at Bea’s in Eastern Market. They have a rooftop space and everything was covid safe. It was perfect for us and our 13 guests!

For venues, check out the Vendors tab here on Wedding Wire! You'll find a bunch of different options, as well as reviews. Setup some tours to see them in person, and be sure to ask them about their COVID policies and cancellation/postponement policies as well, just in case. As far as COVID precautions you could take, I recommend that you book a venue that can hold more people than you plan to host. This way, there is plenty of room for social distancing, and will not feel crowded. Also, if gathering restrictions are still limited to a percentage of the venue capacity, you might not have to downsize your guest list (or you may not have to remove too many people) if the venue is large enough. You might also want to look for a venue that is either outdoors, or has an outdoor patio to use in addition to an indoor space. You could provide masks and hand sanitizer to your guests as favors. Limit the number of people per table for dinner, and also seat people based on household and/or people they meet up with. Offer a plated meal instead of a buffet.

How many people do you want there? What area (city) would you prefer? Do you want it all in one place, or different places (Ceremony and Reception)?
