Courthouse Wedding Stress

Future Mrs. B, on June 21, 2020 at 5:18 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
So FH and I had to postpone our wedding and decided we wanted to do a courthouse wedding in our anniversary. However, I’m so stressed because I feel like there is so much that I don’t know the details about or what to think about. I.e. no photos allowed in courthouses. I don’t want to plan anything outside should the weather not permit and then I was thinking of still doing something at our venue but then I feel like well what’s the point of doing something small only to do it all again next year?

Would you consider finding an officiant and then doing a private ceremony somewhere else ?

Have one of your witnesses take some photos outside of the courthouse or at a park. Don’t worry about the weather. If it rains, use a cute umbrella or take photos in the rain! It’ll be great no matter what.

Have you picked a courthouse? I'd check out their policies and then search online for real wedding pictures!

I wouldn't worry about the weather too much - especially since you don't have to hope for a full day of clear skies! Just long enough to take your pictures. 😉

Afterwards you could have a small at-home reception, or go to a nice restaurant to celebrate!
