courthouse and wedding dress

A good friend of mine from high school had to rearrange her wedding plans with a baby on the way. Her and her now husband were married in a court house and she wore her wedding dress. She figured she bought and was dang well going to wear it at least once.

I say wear it proudly.. You still need to feel special and you paid for the dress so ENJOY the day!

YES! I mean, NO! Do it! Get a photographer too. And perhaps have a reception or just go out afterwards. And flowers if you want them.

I saw pictures from a courthouse wedding on ruffled(I think?) and fell in love. I couldn't believe it was a courthouse wedding, it was SO beautiful!

Good question because FH and I may have to change our plans as well and do a courthouse wedding but I wasnt sure about the full wedding dress in the courthouse. Well...my dress is fitted so it doesnt take up much room...

It's vegas I'm sure people are there dressed in shorts to formal

I can’t see any reason why you cant wear full wedding dress for a courthouse wedding.....as you said you wanted a courthouse wedding originally then feel happy about it that you are having what you wanted and wear your wedding dress with confidence......

And as Jamie.T said....have a reception outside or go out after wedding......

Wear you dress its your day not matter where it is
