Hi Fellow Florida Brides... I am still very early in the planning stage. I can not decide on any reception ideas. I keep going back and forth with round tables or long tables or even no tables.. Tent or no tent and should I do mid afternoon or early evening...lol good thing I still have plenty of time to decide. Trying to be frugal yet classy if that makes sense. We want the reception to be a classic evening get together feel with a bonfire, drinks, yard games under the night lights (haha fake stars with lights in the trees) but I am conflicted if I have that then we will have groups of people separeated with some at the tables and others in the yard.. I can decide on how to go about the reception part for this reason. Ugh but it will all come together.. What are your plans?

Hey, why don't you do a tent with high tables. That was its outdoors but still covered and the high tables will make it more "cocktail -ish". Maybe it can be later in the evening so that its guaranteed to be dark outside and relaxed. Your wedding sounds like it will be nice though.

So I gave up my wedding date for another bride because it was her anniversary. It’s ok. I’m a little bummed because I had already ordered something with the date on it but it’s all good. If it was that important to her then she can have it right? I don’t mind.

My new date is actually in December. 12/5/20 and it’s tearing me apart because my brother’s gf’s brother is also getting married that day. I planned on asking her to be my bridesmaid and he planned on asking my brother to be his groomsmen. Totally sucks but I’m not changing again.

Thank you, I’ll miss her being there with her parents but you’re right. I must continue to plan.
